Culinary Anthropologist is the brand name for food teacher and consultant Anna Colquhoun. She came to us needing a brand identity that would help her to promote the consumer side of the business while at the same time expressing her expert credentials. We distilled the brand message, focusing on her core belief in good, seasonal, home-cooked food, and created icons to clearly structure her broad offer.
We developed a signature-style logo with a chalk-board texture to it that’s suggestive of both food menus and the school room. A broad palette of seasonal colours ensures that her regular communications are always fresh and relevant. Our next step is to create food illustrations for a range of food-inspired merchandise.
“Colourful very skilfully helped me identify my business’s unique strengths, direction and values, and then reflect these through an appropriate brand identity. I am delighted with the final results and grateful for the many good ideas and contacts which Emily supplied along the way. I have no doubt that this work will boost my business.” Anna Colquhoun, Culinary Anthropologist
